Commander and I decided to spend his birthday in a tiny dollhouse for the weekend, which was actually pretty fun. Everything was on a miniature-sized scale, and since Commander is 6'5", he had quite the time ducking through the doorways and sleeping on a teeny bed. The views from our cabin were amazing. Nothing but blue sky and lake as far as the eye can see. Every night the caretakers of the property made a bonfire for all the renters to congregate at. We cooked out, let the dogs run wild, and drank way past dark. It was interesting and weird, all at the same time, to get to know strangers to quickly. It was sad to have to say goodbye to our new friends.
